💎 We found jewels at the Louvre!
The jewel theft at the Louvre made quite a stir…
So we pulled out our pipes, berets, and old notebooks to investigate the digitized “outside-the-walls” collections available in BavartApp.
Result: BINGO!
We uncovered treasures — rediscovered jewels — now visible in augmented reality, right in the Louvre courtyard.
Among them:
💫 Vishnu Earring — exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Art
🎨 Girl with a Pearl Earring — after a certain Vermeer…
🏆 Gothic Chalice — a medieval treasure
💧 Table Fountain — a jewel of engineering and poetry
Not all of these works are jewels, but all have been carefully digitized and can be integrated into our augmented reality cultural mediation services.
With BavAR[t], they become visible anywhere, on smartphones or tablets, and can be exhibited outside museum walls — whether in a museum courtyard, a school, or public space.
📚 Our mission (our duty):
To enhance and make digitized collections accessible to everyone, across the entire territory
To create engaging, interactive outdoor exhibitions
To measure visitor curiosity and engagement, extending the life of artworks and connecting heritage with innovation
Because, in the end, the best way to recover stolen artworks…
might just be to already have them in BavAR[t] 😉
