We’re excited to introduce you to a truly unique exhibition, organized by MX Arts Tour: Obsidian. For this event, the Morlaix funicular tunnel, closed to the public for decades, reopened its doors. One of the exhibition’s centerpieces is a giant dragon, a work by the artist Erza, assembled from recycled motorcycle and car parts.
For those who can’t go down into the tunnel, we created a digital twin of Obsidian. Using the BavartApp, it’s possible to see this dragon in augmented reality on the plaza of the Morlaix train station and in five other cultural locations in the city. This experience allows you to view the artwork from every angle and enjoy the exhibition freely outdoors.
Additionally, a treasure hunt has been set up. By capturing the five dragons scattered around the city using BavAR[t], participants can win free entry to the underground exhibition. It’s a mix of street art, unique heritage, augmented art, and gaming, designed for all audiences.
