Today, as part of our ongoing collaboration with the Musée de Bretagne, the master’s program in Digital Humanities at Université Rennes 2, and the Ministry of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, we reached a significant milestone in the digital valorization and mediation of cultural heritage.

Amand Quélain’s Zouave Uniform: A Treasure Revealed

Our students had the privilege of closely examining Amand Quélain’s Zouave uniform, a richly embroidered piece of history worn by the Breton soldier born in 1830. A member of the 3rd Regiment of Zouaves, Quélain’s uniform tells a story of valor and sacrifice. This historically significant artifact will soon be digitized and made accessible for cultural and scientific mediation, thanks to BavartApp’s cutting-edge technology.
