We’re delighted to share the results of our immersive project, “Glory and Decadence,” created at the Château d’Artigny & Spa. During the presentation for the Tourism & Innovation program, we had the opportunity to showcase this unique experience where history was brought back to life with BavartApp.
This project allowed us to develop a new technological breakthrough for BavAR[t]: an unprecedented immersive mode based on image tracking of the location’s architecture. This feature enables visitors to explore a space by activating content directly on the walls, without needing a QR code or physical beacon. It’s a major innovation for future augmented reality exhibitions, allowing content to be integrated directly “into the walls.”
This experience transformed the visit into a sensory and interactive exploration, where the characters from the château’s dome came to life to tell their stories. Our project was presented to a jury of experts in tourism, culture, and innovation, who were brought together to evaluate projects that are reinventing the tourist experience.
We want to thank our partners and everyone who supported this project, which allowed us to push the boundaries of cultural mediation.
