[Research] “Until lions have their own historians…
…the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.” 🦁
Every project developed with BavAR[t] pushes us to better understand the subjects and the deeper issues behind them.
Dialogue and research are essential to deliver an immersive cultural experience that is aligned with scientific teams and audience expectations.
Before creation, there is always:
📚 research
📖 documentation
🔎 knowledge consolidation
This essential phase leads us to dive into documentary sources often full of unexpected discoveries.
As part of the Caribbean Identity project, created to highlight places of memory (a memorial route connected to UNESCO’s The Slave Route Project international program) in partnership with the Conseil départemental de la Guadeloupe, we were pleased to discover this excellent ARTE documentary:
🎥 Is it true that morality ended slavery?
These sources, these discussions, and the validation by historians and experts allow us to produce content that is historically accurate and accessible to all audiences.
