BavAR[t] at the Hauts-de-Seine Digital Games Festival: Learning Transforms into an Adventure

For the second consecutive year, we participated in the Hauts-de-Seine Digital Games festival, an event dedicated to video games, innovation, and digital education at La Seine Musicale. It was an excellent opportunity for our team to meet with local stakeholders, professionals, and the general public and to introduce our recent immersive projects.

Our goal at this festival was to show how our unique approach, which blends augmented reality and gamification, can transform culture and education into fun experiences.

We presented several concrete educational projects, including:

  • A project in Meung-sur-Loire: 7th-grade students imagined, illustrated, and recorded a fantastic adventure, which was then turned into an immersive exhibition using augmented reality. This project innovatively combined creativity, heritage, and digital technology.

  • A project at Rennes 2 University: We supported students in Digital Humanities in creating a memorial geocaching tool centered on a World War I Zouave uniform. This project combined history, archives, and interactive exploration.

This event was a great venue for discussing the future of educational technology, and we had the chance to talk with teachers, cultural mediators, and video game enthusiasts about new ways to engage younger generations through captivating experiences.
