Orbita: BavAR[t]’s Cultural 3D Viewer
Into orbit
We’re launching Orbita: BavAR[t]’s 3D viewer, and a cultural media platform in its own right.
Why Orbita
A collection listed in a static database needs more visibility. Orbita answers a simple need: letting people see and discover what the BavAR[t] app has already created, without waiting for a visit. BavAR[t] already features over 150 original creations and more than 2,500 documented artworks — but until now, all that work stayed invisible outside the app.
Who it’s for
For those kept away by distance or mobility. For cultural professionals curious to see what BavAR[t] can do. For app users who want to extend the experience beyond the site. For researchers who need to come back to it. And for anyone simply curious to explore a collection.
What Orbita actually brings
Three things at once: showcasing cultural artwork collections, exposing content that was previously invisible, and a media platform that publishes — every week, 3 new artworks join Orbita.
One artwork, one immersion
An artwork is a visual, a description, an audio narration, and interactions — an immersive moment on screen. And something no other tool in the sector offers: every artwork is also narrated in audio, so you experience its story as you discover it.
Orbita extends BavAR[t] — it doesn’t replace it. Available on bavart.io, no install needed.
